A Personal Invitation to Those Caring for Our Living Earth.
Dear Friends of our Home Planet Earth,
First, I am simply moved to say thank you. We greatly appreciate everything you are doing for us.
Thank you for the work you are already doing to protect, restore, regenerate, teach about, and care for the natural world that sustains us all. Whether your efforts involve soil regeneration, conservation, regenerative agriculture & farming, ecological education, gardening, biodiversity, outdoor learning, climate awareness, sustainable living, or simply helping others reconnect with Nature, your contribution matters.
One of the reasons we created the Nature First Initiative through Peace President United is that so many individuals and organizations throughout the world are already doing remarkable work, yet much of humanity remains disconnected from the living systems upon which our lives depend.
We believe it is time to bring Nature back into the center of our awareness, our educational systems, our communities, and our governmental priorities.
Healthy soil, clean water, thriving ecosystems, regenerative agriculture, biodiversity, and opportunities for our children to experience and learn directly from Nature are not peripheral concerns. They are intimately connected with our food, our health, our future, and the well-being of generations yet to come.
And perhaps there is an even deeper realization waiting for us:
Nature is not something separate from us. We are Nature.
The Nature First Initiative is therefore not intended to compete with the extraordinary work already being done by environmental organizations, educators, farmers, scientists, conservationists, gardeners, activists, and communities around the world. Quite the opposite.
We want to recognize it, learn from it, bring greater awareness to it, and help inspire more of it.
Our larger vision is to encourage a cultural shift in which ecology, soil health and regeneration, nature-based learning, outdoor education, and responsible stewardship of our Home Planet Earth become natural priorities in the way we educate our children, govern our communities, and live our everyday lives.
This is where I would personally like to invite your participation.
There is no complicated membership process and no expectation that you agree with everything expressed by Peace President United. In fact, questioning, examining, and thinking for ourselves are essential aspects of conscious participation.
I simply invite you to explore the Nature First Initiative.
If something you discover resonates with you, please consider sharing the initiative with others, introducing us to valuable resources or organizations we should know about, or simply continuing the beautiful work you are already doing.
Sometimes supporting a movement does not require joining another organization.
Sometimes it begins by recognizing:
We are already on the same team.
And in this case, that team is rather extraordinary.
It is Team Earth.
