Peace President United is a compassionate movement dedicated to the evolution of human consciousness, individually and collectively, and to inspiring each of us to consciously participate in our shared evolution, including how we lead, govern, and live together.

We are here for everyone.

Anyone who feels drawn to exploring new dimensions of inner peace, emotional well-being, conscious awareness, and all-inclusiveness will feel right at home.

Our wish is that, together, we can open ourselves to the inner and outer transformation so many of us long to experience, while discovering what becomes possible when we begin that transformation within ourselves.

Perhaps the Next Great Frontier Is Within

Dearest Humanity… Friends!

For thousands of years, human beings have struggled to coexist peacefully. At the same time, our extraordinary accomplishments and discoveries reveal just how capable we are. And yet, despite all we have learned and created, conflict, division, and war remain deeply woven into the human experience.

Perhaps the next great frontier is not merely what we can accomplish in the world, but what we are willing to discover within ourselves.

For those interested in looking beyond familiar, self-defeating patterns and exploring the possibility of greater inner peace, fulfillment, and peaceful coexistence, one truth becomes increasingly difficult to ignore: change is inevitable.

Everything is Already Changing

Everything is already changing. The question is whether we will continue resisting inner transformation or consciously participate in it.

Throughout recorded history, civilizations have risen and fallen, reminding us of one of life’s most enduring realities: nothing remains unchanged. Impermanence touches everyone, regardless of how deeply we may wish to hold on to familiar ideas, identities, beliefs, and ways of life.

And yet, we often resist the very change that is inherent in being alive. In our desire for security and self-preservation, we can become deeply identified with the beliefs, identities, and divisions that make us feel safe or certain, even when they may also keep us bound to fear.

From this perspective, some of the political, national, and social divisions we experience outwardly may also reflect patterns operating within us: fear, unworthiness, defensiveness, and the need to protect who we believe ourselves to be.

Perhaps the invitation, then, is not simply to change the world around us, but to become conscious of what within us continues to recreate the very patterns we wish to transcend.

Conscious Government Begins Within

If conscious governing is to become possible, perhaps it must be accompanied by inner transformation, not within one person, organization, or government, but within all of us. This means looking beyond the perceived separation between ourselves and others, while questioning the fear, unworthiness, and unconscious patterns that can shape the way we live, lead, and relate to one another.

Such transformation invites a deeper level of self-honesty, one that allows us to recognize not only what is happening within ourselves, but what is unfolding around us.

From there, we may be better prepared to look openly at some of the profound challenges facing humanity, including population growth, weapons of mass destruction, the sustainability and regeneration of our food systems, and the many other choices that will shape the world inherited by future generations.

What Are We Choosing to Sustain?

As the human population has grown, so too have the demands we place upon one another and our shared Earth home. Our extraordinary capacity to create and sustain life now exists alongside an equally extraordinary capacity to compete, dominate, consume, and destroy.

And the choices we make with our collective resources reveal something about our priorities. The United States now devotes hundreds of billions of dollars each year to defense and military-related purposes, including weapons capable of extraordinary destruction, while many basic human needs remain unmet and the natural systems essential to sustaining life, including healthy soil and regenerative food systems, continue to demand our attention and care.

I ask you this:

Does a country that directs such extraordinary resources toward military power while basic human needs remain unmet portray a nation living in fear or loving fearlessly?

Welcoming Transformation

Perhaps more of us are beginning to recognize that meaningful change in our world cannot be separated from a conscious shift within ourselves, including the perspectives, beliefs, and patterns we bring into leadership, government, and our relationships with one another.

So let us open our hearts and minds to the sacred wisdom already within us, and to a possibility we may understand more deeply than we realize:

The peaceful and joyous inner and outer world we yearn for becomes possible when we learn to get out of our own way, personally and collectively, and willingly welcome transformation.
